Ballantine's Finest Blended Scotch Whisky
Ballantine’s Finest is the oldest recipe in the current range, created in 1910 by the Ballantine’s family. There are more than 40 malts and grains in this blend. These are carefully selected from 4 different iconic Scottish regions.
Soft, elegant, heather honey aromas with a hint of spice on the nose. Well balanced subtle flavors with tones of milk chocolate, red apple and vanilla. The sophisticated after-taste gives a fresh, floral and rounded glow finish.
George Ballantine was born into a family of farmers hailing from the town of Brought Knowe, Peebleshire. George set up shop at the tender age of 19, in a completely different part of Edinburgh to most of the other grocers. He liked to do things his own way. Every couple of years he would move his shop to follow his customers and make sure he was at the heart of things. He never wanted the great and the good to miss out on his smooth blend. He followed his own path, driven by the desire to create the ultimate whisky and to never compromise on quality.
