Champagne Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Brut

Beautiful, pale golden-yellow color with gentle green reflections; a vibrant, luminous color. Active effervescence with a persistent release of bubbles. At first very intense on the nose, with fresh fruit notes, particularly ripe citrus fruits.

A second refined floral nose with notes of white flowers and fruits (white peaches and pineapple). A supple, harmonious attack on the palate, very rounded. Vinosity that is not excessive, supported by excellent freshness.

100% Chardonnay from various years (20 to 25% of which are wines reserved from the 2 previous years). Inspired by his grandfather, Dom Thierry Ruinart, Nicolas Ruinart in 1729 founded Maison Ruinart, the very first modern Champagne house. Dom Ruinart was a monk who learned of a new "wine with bubbles," also known as "vin de mousse" but not yet known as champagne, which he was convinced held a promising future. The coat of arms that appears on Ruinart's bottles was granted by Louis XVIII in 1817 and symbolizes the Ruinart family's innovative spirit and virtues.
