Josh Cellars Chardonnay 2022

This "summer Chardonnay" shows bright tropical flavors highlighted by a touch of French oak. Ripe citrus, summer fruit, peach, and pear, aligned with a touch of vanilla and smoke; partially barrel fermented.

This classic Sonoma County Chardonnay offers inviting stone-fruit aromas, accented by notes of tropical fruit. The well-balanced acidity supports a core of pear and sweet melon and complements a creamy texture. The wine has a clean, refreshing finish.

100% Chardonnay. Blended & bottled by Joseph Carr. "My father's name was Joseph, as is mine, but his friends just called him Josh." Growers, that Josh calls friends, all lend a hand in this "winemakers wine," what they jokingly refer to as a "vin de garage"—a handcrafted wine they made just for themselves. A wine that is bold and expressive, but unassuming and approachable. It's funny how these characteristics seem to remind Josh of someone that he knew. It's a wine he made for his family, his friends, and a man he called Dad.
