Tanqueray No. Ten Gin
Inspired by Charles Tanqueray's pursuit of perfection, Tanqueray No. Ten is distilled in small batches with fresh,. whole citrus fruits and the finest hand-selected botanicals. This is the ultimate gin for the ultimate cocktail and Tanqueray's tribute to a pioneer in gin making.
The essence of the Tanqueray brand was laid down over 170 years ago when Charles Tanqueray, descended from three generations of clergymen, chose not to follow the family calling and instead opened a distillery in Bloomsbury, London in 1838. Charles' refusal to accept the status quo meant that he spent many years testing the finest botanicals from around the world. When Charles died in 1868, his son Charles Waugh Tanqueray inherited the distillery, which continued to operate until it was severely damaged during World War II. The only facility to survive the Axis bombing, now known as "Old Tom," has since been moved to Cameron Bridge, Scotland, continuing Charles Tanqueray's legacy of excellence.
