Made in a collaboration with House of Suntory chief blender Shinji Fukuyo, it started out maturing in French oak barrels, before being transferred into Japanese mizunara casks for a secondary maturation. Aromas of sandalwood, roasted cocoa, cherry blossom, aromatic oak and sweet spices fill the nose, complemented by notes of jasmine, vanilla, yuzu, passion fruit, honey and green tea throughout the palate.
