FUYU is a powerful and generous blend from 3 distilleries around Kyoto, a true expression of the Japanese cellar masters’ blending knowhow. Made from grain and malt, FUYU is aged in American white oak barrels to bring generous oak and cooked fruits notes. Its name means “winter” in Japanese.
Smooth and clean with hints of caramel. Aged for seven months in American white oak casks that have been reconditioned after originally being used for premium-aged whiskey. Great served neat or on the rocks, and perfect base for premium cocktails.
Clear color. Aromas and flavors of white melon, roasted tea, steamed sweet potato, juniper, and malted rye with a satiny, crisp, dryish light-to-medium body and a warming, complex, long finish with notes of persimmon, fruity bell pepper, and fennel.
