This Rosè is a brilliant peach color. Pink grapefruit, pomegranate and black currant with a hint of wild aromas. Well-balanced acidity on the palate with notes of red raspberry and strawberry and a fine persistent perlage.
Very fresh and fruity, the aroma is rich in berries, strawberries, cherries, red berries and slight nuances of chocolate. On the palate, it is sweet; the freshness of berries and the intensity of ripe berries lingers on.
Opening with alluring aromas of cassis, blackberry, dark chocolate and a touch of black tea, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon entices the senses. Sumptuous flavors of juicy cherry, raspberry and caramelized oak are harmonious and well-balanced with a hint of minerality.
Quarry Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon always offers an intriguing combination of flavors, and this vintage is no exception. Its aromas of cherry, dried herb, and tobacco are reflected in the flavors on the palate, with additional earth and mineral notes.

Grenache (Garnacha) "Gambrels of the Sky" comes from an Emily Dickinson poem entitled “I dwell in Possibility,” and though this feels a little lofty, it seemed appropriate for a wine dedicated to my remarkable grandmother, Frances Howard Peterson. Not only did she love poetry, she also loved cooking, science, and wine.
Selección is only produced in great vintages and in varying quantities depending on the conditions of each vintage. The wine is a result of a strict selection of the family's oldest vineyards planted on hillsides and higher altitude sites that tend to have poorer soil and better drainage.
