A rich and smoky 10-year-old single malt from Laphroaig that has been finished in oloroso sherry casks, creating a rich, full-bodied character. Aromas of TCP, Manuka honey, clove, smoked bacon, leather and pine tar fill the nose, complemented by notes of treacle, wax, toffee, maple syrup, dark chocolate, pine needles, chestnut honey and rich peat smoke throughout the palate.
This wine will be a pillar for California Sauvignon Blanc. The hallmark tropical components are elevated with the structure of minerality that comes from soils at Ink Grade. The 2019 Sauvignon Blanc has retained an herbal and mineral note with a backdrop of lemongrass and slate. These aromatics are balanced by tropical notes that create a wine of texture and complexity.
One of the many marvels of great Cru Beaujolais is that it can be richly colored and quite deeply concentrated but lively and refreshing at the same time. There’s fruit, earth, and flowers in abundance, but no excesses of tannin or alcohol to weigh you down. That is the magic of Château de la Bottière’s Juliénas: It tastes “big” without, in fact, being big.
Bruna's vineyards were planted in 1970 by Francesca's father, Riccardo Bruna. It is a tiny 7.5 hectare estate consisting of 5-6 vineyard plots, all planted on terraced vineyards carved out of the Ligurian mountainside. This tank aged wine is all elegance, freshness and minerality. Intensely scented with fine floral and citric notes alongside aromatic herbs and Mediterranean scrub. For lovers of saline, seafood-friendly whites.

From the producer: Our nod to Italy’s famed Prosecco is a crowd pleaser every year. Bollicine (tiny bubbles) is ripe with refreshing zest of tangerine and citrus with a touch of grapefruit on the nose and a lingering zing of sweet blood oranges on the finish. Pair this wine with fresh berries zabaglione, soft mixed greens with citrus vinaigrette and orange supremes, or simply on its own as an aperitif.
As a somewhat more powerful alternative to Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch is also playing an increasingly important role at the Glatzer winery. The typical black cherry dominates the nose, plus a lot of spice with cloves and allspice, also blackberries and some orange zest, plus leafy nuances. A mellow texture on the palate, very engaging, again the spicy blackberry, plus roasted plums, soft tannin and delicate acidity, but intense - a true Blaufränkisch flatterer!
