Inky bright-rimmed ruby. An exotically perfumed bouquet displays sexy black and blue fruit liqueur scents complicated by suggestions of potpourri vanilla and incense. Stains the palate with sweet deeply concentrated boysenberry cherry cola and fruitcake flavors; a sexy violet pastille nuance emerges with aeration. Rich but also impressively balanced with velvety tannins building slowly on a strikingly long penetrating finish.
Medium red, a bit darker than the Coteaux Nobles. Less fruity and spicy on the nose today, with the strawberry and cherry aromas currently dominated by mocha, graphite and leather.
Ruby red of great brilliance with a slight shimmer of pomegranate on the surface. First impression in the nose: rich in fruity notes of Amarena cherries, sour cherries and black currants, followed by elegant herbal nuances and fried pepper as well as coffee, vanilla bean and pink pepper.
Grüner Veltliner is the “queen” of the white varieties in Austria. Its main characteristics are the fruity-spicy nose, also called “Pfefferl” referring to pepper.
Dark ruby in the glass, aromas of dark cherries and raspberry mingle with nuances of licorice. Soft and velvety, robust with a voluptuous and full-bodied mouthfeel, the palate unfolds with decadent layers of intense chocolate-covered dark red cherries, and a delicate hint of wild sage. A long, lingering finish instills a lasting impression of rich, concentrated flavors.
Pale light gold in color with slight greenish glints. Bright, luminous and limpid. The nose is full of sunshine, gaiety, beauty and maturity. A rich, splendid bouquet of a multitude of flowers. A basket of fruit on a fresh summers morning.
Peach, green apple, some currant and a hint of citrus peel. Nice and juicy and inviting in the mouth, it is clear and shows a subtle, refreshing play of sweetness and acidity. Grapefruit and peach notes lead to a pleasant, gently tart aftertaste; simply heavenly! With its subtle residual sweetness, the paradise goes well with plain white meat or in a slightly creamy sauce. But green salads, a crispy lemon chicken or grilled tuna are also a good idea. Or how about a potato-zucchini-carrot gratin? Then the pleasure remains heavenly vegetarian.
