Red dry wine, made from the Otskhanuri Sapere grape variety, harvested in the Imereti region. Aged in special oak vats, the wine is dark purple with enticing flavors of berries, hints of cherry, cream, and spices. The wine is full-bodied, with strong tannins and pleasant acidity characteristic of Imeretian wine.
80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Alc. 14% by Vol.
2021 was a beautiful vintage across the North and Central coasts. Grapes enjoyed a lengthy growing season with plenty of sunshine and moderate conditions throughout harvest.
Ruby-like, bright. Fruity with red plum and varietal characteristics. Medium dry, tanninous, medium body and harmonious with a good finish. This wine marries two of the classic Bordeaux grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon offers character, complexity and longevity, while Merlot adds softer tannins and elegance.
Fresh fruit and easy-drinking, this wine has blackberry aromas from the Cabernet Sauvignon that are teamed with the ripe fruit flavors of the Merlot, creating a blend of spices and sweetness.
The wine appeared in 1981 and is named after the artist Nikolai (Niko) Pirosmanashvili. The wine is made from Saperavi grapes. After 5-7 days of maceration, when the desired level of residual sugar is reached, the fermentation process is stopped by cooling and filtering the wine, thereby preserving its natural sweetness and freshness.
Appellation controlled red dry wine produced from specially selected Saperavi grapes grown in Mukuzani appelation of Kakheti region and fermented in Qvevries according to the ancient Georgian methodology.
Ruby red of great brilliance with a slight shimmer of pomegranate on the surface. First impression in the nose: rich in fruity notes of Amarena cherries, sour cherries and black currants, followed by elegant herbal nuances and fried pepper as well as coffee, vanilla bean and pink pepper.
The lead aromas of black currant, crushed minerals, black cherry and hints of rose hips are followed on the palate with flavors of black currant, soy, hints of roasted plums and beef blood. This will be the longest lived Avoyelles to date.
This Rose is light in color and has a delicate fragrance and sweet taste. It pairs well with fruit, cheese and desserts. It's a splendid and festive wine to complete any meal!
