The nose is perfumed and complex with candied citrus fruits and roasted, tannic flavors. The palate is powerful, with a great aromatic richness. Almost explosive with cooked pear, citrus fruits, cinnamon, and pepper.
A rich, dense ruby color hints at the dark fruit nose of blackberry and currant that carries through to the palate, interwoven with complex aromas of black licorice, anise and creme de cassis.
Deep, golden copper. Aromas of orchard fruits (crystallized plums and apples), roasted notes (mocha coffee, toasted almonds, vetiver), and rich spice (cinnamon, orange tree flower, honey, and beeswax).
Rich gold in color. Vanilla with a hint of ginger, dried fruits, sherry sweetness and wood smoke on the nose. Deliciously smooth on the palate with rich dried fruits and sherry balanced with wood smoke and spice.
A gentle and persistent string of very delicate bubbles forms, exploding on the surface. It begins first with the aromas of fresh red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, cherry) combined with citrus fruit fragrances (grapefruit) that match perfectly with the lightly spiced notes of cinnamon and vanilla revealed once allowed to breathe.
Kvanchkara is a medium-sweet red wine made from a blend of mujuretuli and aleksandreuli grapes. It's aromas of smoky, wild strawberries are followed on the palate by a mellow blend of dried fruit, pomegranate, and a touch of caramel and almonds, though there's plenty of lively acidity to keep it fresh and balanced.
Generous notes of plum and fig marmalade rounded out by intense oaky notes of toffee and toasted bread on the nose. The mellowness of butterscotch and baked spices with hints of dark chocolate flavors.

They are behind other great bottlings such as Old Malt Cask and Old & Rare. They also are the owners of the new Islay distillery, Ardnahoe.
The Redbreast Kentucky Oak Edition is triple distilled in copper pot stills and matured in American Bourbon barrels and Spanish Oloroso Sherry butts. Then it’s finished for a minimum of 4 months in hand selected, air-dried American Oak from the Taylor family farm in Kentucky.
