Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Port Cask Finish. A "Double Cask" Single Malt made in the Highlands in the heart of Scotland using traditional ancestral methods. Its long aging in barrels that previously contained Bourbon gives our Single Malt Glen Turner Heritage a woody flavor as well as subtle notes of spices, vanilla and tropical fruits. Its finish in old Port barrels enriches the aromatic palette of this Single Malt with notes of wine and dried fruits.
The ingredients and whiskey-making process of Jack Daniel's 12-year-old Tennessee Whiskey is the same as Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey - 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye. Unaged whiskey is mellowed drop by drop through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal before entering into the barrel.
Jack Daniel’s Unaged Tennessee Rye ack Daniel’s Unaged Tennessee Rye is Jeff Arnett’s exploration into the intriguing flavor drawn from premium rye. It's the first time since before Prohibition the Jack Daniel Distillery has used a new grain recipe.
Peat smoke has long drifted through our history. In years gone by, peat featured heavily in distilling traditions and our records show Glenturret using peat dug from Octhertye Estate in the early 1800s. We are in the rare position of producing peated and non-peated spirit at different times of the year from the same small stills. This has allowed us to craft this mellow, sweet, smoky 10 years old single malt that shows its character off to the full at a strength of 50%.
