Very expressive nose of morello cherry and brown tobacco, with sweet notes of licorice candy and peony. A complex palate, expressing violet and fresh blackcurrant, finishing with hints of thyme and a touch of bitter orange zest that gives the finish a gourmet taste. It is a sensual and charming, yet restrained Saint-Estephe. Silky, smooth tannins give this Pez 2018 a precise and refined length.

Clone 4 Cabernet Sauvignon has a long and mysterious history here in California. It originally arrived in Napa Valley from Mendoza, Argentina in 1964. How it made its way to South America is still unclear, presumably with French winemakers who were leaving Bordeaux in the late 1800s as phylloxera was devastating the region.
A unique blend of Upper Galilee- Mount Meron- vineyards. Grapes were manually and selectively harvested at dawn, from carefully selected plots on the northern slopes of the mountain, which enjoy an ideal climate for growing high-quality, noble grape varieties. Dedicated care and personal attention to the vines yielded perfect grape clusters, which underwent meticulous sorting upon reaching the adjacent winery and controlled, supervised fermentation. This precision let to superb extraction, which was aged in fine French oak barrels.
