Another Sonoma Coast releases is the 2016 Chardonnay Durell Vineyard. Quince, buttered citrus, white flowers, creamed corn, and some smoky minerality all define this layered, medium to full-bodied, ultra-pure Chardonnay that has acidity, concentration, and length. It's another gem and all these 2016s are a significant step up over the 2015s.
With several new vineyard sources in the 2019 vintage, this wine continues to embody the misty and cool Sonoma Coast, with just a hint of creaminess balancing the bracing acidity.
White sweet liqueur wine with a deep yellow color, made from perfectly ripe, carefully selected grapes. In the nose have aromas of Pineapple juice, William’s Pear and Litchi notes. Intense exotic fruits taste, well-balanced and long-lasting taste.
Grapes for this wine come from California's Central Coast, where the coastal influences of the Pacific Ocean combined with inland warmth create beautiful, balanced growing conditions for Chardonnay.
