Domaine Jean Grivot is among the great names in Burgundian wine. Étienne Grivot and his wife Marielle took over from Étienne’s father Jean Grivot in 1987. The vineyards are densely planted and farmed organically “sans certification” while the aim in the cellar is for balance and clear expression of terroir.
Deep purple color, with bluish hues. Intense red fruits and flowers aromas, such as roses and violets. Herbal notes. Soft and silky entry, great structure, acidity that provides freshness and mineral texture. Long finish.
Aromas of bright red cherries, hints of earth and ripe fruit. Approachable and elegant, this is the perfect accompaniment to poultry, meat and vegetable dishes.
Deep crimson color with violet tones. The nose is filled with spiced aromas. Taste of red berries with soft tannins make for a sweet finish on the palate.
Deep ruby red. Hints of strawberry and raspberry with hints of cacao. It is intense and vibrant on the palate, medium body with well rounded tannins to finish.
Very beautiful color, steady and deep. A first intense nose of soaked red berries reveals then some spicy notes of clove. The attack is very round. The mouth is ample, supported by very ripe tannins.
Pale ruby red in color. Ruffino Chianti features a delicious bouquet, with floral and fruity notes leading to lightly spicy scents of white pepper and hazelnuts. Medium-bodied and well balanced, this is a fresh and food-friendly favorite.
