Chateau Bellevue Cuvee Clos Bellevue 2019
There is nothing civil about this 2008 Chateau Bellevue. Something noble, earlier. Something distinguished, with all the proper ripeness, with woodland and mushroom in the aroma, with a touch of coffee.
This is a happy example of how delicious Bordeaux can be a rich flavor in dark draperies, well in big glasses with sirloin steak and lamb.
Château Bellevue's vineyard is planted in gravelly, clay-limestone soil, and has a reputation for producing one of the best wines in the commune. The owner supervises the vinification with meticulous care and also places great importance on the ageing of the wines. Their evolution during their 18 to 24 months in barrels is carefully monitored, until it is judged to be the right moment, depending on the nature of the vintage, to transfer them to bottles. In this way he is able to offer a wine that is ready for drinking, but which will continue to develop and open up for many more years.
