Fondo Antico is a winery established in 1995 on the Polizzotti-Scuderi family estate. It is located in the village of Rilievo, on National Road 115 halfway between Trapani and Marsala. Among the prickly pears, the cool shade of olive trees and fertile lemon groves, lie our 80 acres planted with bush-trained vines of Grillo, Nero d'Avola and Syrah varieties. Their business philosophy is reflected by quality and the careful process we follow, from vineyard care to the handling of harvested grapes down to making musts and wines. We do all this as we try to obtain wines that represent faithfully the character of these vineyards.
