The balanced taste of this Rye Recipe Bourbon is smooth, yet complex.
As great whiskey distillers throughout the world — from Kentucky to Scotland — have long known, it takes sweet water from tough rock to make great whiskey. And, that’s what Widow Jane Whiskey is all about.
Truly “small batch,” each batch of this US-1 Bourbon is typically composed of no more than two dozen barrels, leaving no margin for “blending out” imperfection and thus necessitating excellence from every barrel.
Sophisticated and complex. A distinctly different bourbon created with precise craftsmanship. Made from their signature "high rye" recipe and the marriage of select barrels carefully chosen by their Master Distiller.
True grain featuring a mash bill of 45% winter wheat. Aged 4 years in new oak barrels, high wheat content creates a mellow, nutty whiskey with a long, smooth finish. Flavors of roasted coffee bean and hazelnut.
Nose: Upon Uncorking: notes of oak and wood char are notable. Nose: After Breathing: complex scents of dark fruit and sweet corn.
Like the previous chapters in the acclaimed Little Book Series, “Lessons Honored” continues to deliver on Noe’s passion for creating first-to-world, high-quality blended whiskeys, while also honoring the Beam family legacy.
Little Book® Chapter 6, “To The Finish,” is the sixth chapter in the Little Book Whiskey series. “To The Finish” offers a chance for any curious whiskey drinker to expand their palate - both seasoned connoisseurs and newcomers alike.
A bold, grain-forward, no-holds-barred straight bourbon whiskey. Distilled from New York corn and aged in new charred American oak barrels. With notes of rich vanilla and lightly salted caramel on the finish, it shines brighter than the rest.
