Notes from the Winemaker:
As we have continued our exploration of the vast diversity that California has to offer, we find ourselves increasingly drawn to the cooler climates. These wines offer vibrancy, freshness and clean delineation that engage both our curiosity and our palate.

An alluring plum red, with scents of dark cherries, chocolate shavings and violets. A hint of Napa Valley dust comes through on the nose, which has an equal balance of fruit, oak and earthiness. Enters the palate with a soft suppleness, peaking with flavors or cassis, dark berries, lavender and nutmeg. Texturous and fills the mouth. The exceptionally long finish displays a harmony of grippiness, vanilla oak and lush fruit.

The 2014 Experiment H3.4 wine was aged entirely in 300L barrels, known as "logheads," and the resulting wine has great fruit character and vibrancy. It is a wine with both power and focus, exhibiting lively notes of cherry, plum, sage, violets, boysenberry, and black tea.

Sangria is traditionally a social red wine.

A well-balanced, light-bodied Moscato with beautiful scents of white peaches, rose, and lychee and a lingering finish of sweet and creamy peach and honeydew melon flavors.

The 2018 Pessimist is inky and dark aubergine in color. A powerhouse vintage with a plethora fruit showcasing blueberry, boysenberry, plum and strawberry. Smoky notes of truffle and roasted coffee are accompanied by accents of floral consisting of lavender and lilac, highlighted by underlying nuances of buttered toast, vanilla, and a breath of cool wintergreen.

Lovely black cherry and spice aromas lead to a lush palate of blackberry, pomegranate and red fruits. There is some definite weight to the yet the finish remains silky smooth. Very versatile, this wine pairs with a wide variety of foods.

A blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 MMXVI Cabernet Sauvignon gives up gregarious notions of warm red and black currants, black raspberries and warm plums with hints of chocolate mint, pencil shavings and tilled loam plus a waft of lilacs.

Crisp, bright and expressive, Josh Cellars Pinot Gris offers flavors of citrus and mango with a long tropical fruit finish.

A soft, dry Cabernet that has a rich, smooth taste with medium body. This wine is created in a light, easy-to-enjoy style with soft notes of cherry fruit and a wonderfully smooth finish.

Aromas of Mandarin orange and sweet jasmine crash into each other to create a deliciously sweet sea of pink goodness. Subtle flavors of cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate wash ashore in the flavorful experience.

Medium to full-bodied, the palate features loads of black fruit preserves, framed by chewy tannins and great freshness, finishing with a compelling herbal lift.

Chateau Souverain Pinot Noir reveals aromas of brown spice and blackberries on the nose. The oak profile is very complementary and integrated with notes of butterscotch and graham cracker characteristics on the palate.
