Viticoltori Storici Amarone della Valpolicella is a premium red wine produced in the Valpolicella region of Italy. This wine is made using the traditional method of appassimento, where the grapes are left to dry for several months to concentrate the flavors and aromas. The blend typically consists of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes, with small additions of other local varieties.

What a back-to-back pair of vintages! I assume one would have to go back to 2002 and 2001 to find two Screaming Eagles this compelling. The 2013 appears set for 25-30 years of longevity. There is something magical about this Oakville parcel on the valley floor just under the looming hillsides of such wineries as Phelps, Bacchus and Dalla Valle's Maya, and across the street from the Rudd Estate, Plumpjack, etc.

Nose: Distinct red fruit aromas, especially cherry and a hint of marasca with a hint of spice and shrubs.

Taste: The fruity sensation it perceives on the nose. It is elegant, with an excellent balance of acidity and softness. Silky tannins leave a lingering finish.

On the nose: Scents of freshly picked forest fruits with notes of salinity, reminiscent of a summer evening on the beach.
On the palate: Perfectly balanced, vibrant strawberry grenadine and currant, ending with remarkable freshness.

Joyvin White, a partially fermented white grape must, is the ultimate, easy-drinking party wine. It's light, fruity and fun to sip or enjoy with lightly flavored fish and chicken dishes. Serve chilled.

Mavrodaphne is one of the most famous and tasteful Greek wines. It is a red sweet wine produced from grapes grown in the northwestern Region of Achia. Characteristics of this variety are that the longer it ages, the more its merits emerge. Great with spicy cheeses, fruits and desserts. Winery

Firm, but balanced, this is a wine with many of the virtues of the vintage. It has weight and richness, but also fresh, juicy, fruity acidity all packaged nicely in tannins.

Clos de la Vieille Eglise, the tiny property estate of Jean-Louis and Benoît Trocard, has an opulent bouquet with layers of ripe cassis and blueberry fruit, just showing a little more alcohol than its Pomerol peers. The palate is ripe and generous on the entry. I was expecting it to spill over into something overdone... but no. It is actually very elegant and harmonious with great depth and very fine persistence.

The Expressionist movement originated in the 20th century and was explored initially through poetry and painting to present ideas solely from a subjective perspective. Drawing inspiration from this movement each and every one of our wines have their own expression and story to tell and when paired with food make the perfect accompaniment for any dinner party.

The Fog Monster Bedrock Red is an heirloom field blend of 27 different grape varieties, including Zinfandel (55%), Carignan (15%), and Mataro (10%), sourced from the eponymous Bedrock single vineyard planted in 1888. These exceptionally old vines are planted on deep alluvial riverbed soils which produce a particularly dense and complex wine with a core of plush red berry fruit, citrus peel and clove spice, structured by tightly knit tannins and a signature freshness. On the nose there are notes of white pepper, fennel, coriander and dark fruit. The palate is firm, dense and dry, with a tight, fresh finish.
