Dedicated care and personal attention to the vines yielded perfect grape clusters, which underwent meticulous sorting upon reaching the adjacent winery and controlled, supervised fermentation. This precision let to superb extraction, which was aged in fine French oak barrels.

Colleoni grows organic Sangiovese in less-heeled areas of Montalcino that he has identified as top terroirs. This is one great example: it tastes like the Gang of Four might have given him a tip or two on his vinification. Expect ripe Sangiovese fruit with a streak of bitter cherry and a pleasant dusting of Tuscan tannin.

Cannonau has been cultivated in Sardinia for centuries according to historical records. This wine comes from the northwestern coast of the region, and showcases a floral nose with hints of ripe strawberries and mediterranean herbs. Best paired with paella Alegherse.

The cellar in which Eric Jeanneteau raises his single wine, a beautiful red Saint-Émilion grand cru, is an unadorned building on the family estate in Saint-Étienne de Lisse. Jeanneteau varies his vinification quite a bit depending on each vintage’s conditions, and the results can be fascinating, even startling, like hearing the same symphony interpreted by different conductors. His 2015 is supple, vibrant, and alive. The cellar may be plain, but there’s a true chef d’orchestre inside.

Eucalyptus leather underbrush and licorice aromas. Linear, firmly structured palate offers dried cherry orange zest coffee bean same licorice note as nose alongside grainy tannins, drying tannins.

Unlike the site specific wines of Terroir Al Limit, Terroir Històric is devoted to expressing the complex character of the whole of Priorat in two colors: white and red. Silvio Giamello Vincenzia Barbaresco presents a wonderfully rich, intense aroma of classically styled Barbaresco, layered with underbrush, tobacco, and bitters. A dense and savory palate, framed by firm tannins and plenty of cooling acidity.

Ruby black color. Aromas of watermelon candy, strawberry candies, blueberry jam, and dill with a satiny, vibrant, fruity medium body and a seamless, interesting, medium-length red licorice, peach scone, and baking spices finish with moderate oak flavor. A somewhat ostentatious Cabernet with bold candy-fruit aromas and easy-drinking, crowd-pleasing style.

Not so intense ruby colored with orange shades. Delicate scent, dry taste.

Rustic, robust and woodsy with cedar brush and tart wild blackberry, dark cherry and plum fruit. Complex with lead notes and soft black and red fruit dancing together.

Cherry-red in color, with aromas of black fruit such as blackberries and plums, smooth ailky tannins on the palate. Serve at 16°-18°C (61°-64°F)
