The 2018 Sancerre Blanc Les Romains offers lovely textural depth and fine balance. Lemon confit, marzipan, spice and floral notes add that extra bit of pliancy and resonance that gives the wine its soft curves and open-knit personality. Best of all, the 2018 will drink well right out of the gate.
This is an "estate wine" that far out-classes its name. Picked from the "Zuckerberg" plot of vines on the Niedermenniger Herrenberg, harvested early to catch maximum freshness and vitality, it combines cool marine character and a touch of creaminess with a firm, lip-smacking finish. Incredible quality at the entry level.
This Riserva from Sesti is rich, dark and full-bodied. From a beautifully warm and sunny vintage, the 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Phenomena displays dark fruit, ripe cherry, tobacco, balsam herb and exotic spice. A mere 3,750 bottles were made. The wine is textured and velvety with fresh acidity and integrated tannins.
Extended wood maturation resulted in a beautiful amber colour with orange zest, dried fruit, caramel and nuttiness on the nose. This full flavoured wine explodes with fruit, marzipan and toffee on the palate, with a well balanced sweet finish. Serve chilled before a meal or with cheese and chocolates after a meal.

Fruity aromas of juicy tangerine, passion fruit, orange blossom water, and lime sherbet with a velvety, crisp, fruity medium body and a sleek, interesting, medium-length lime zest, cream, and pineapple gummies finish. The youthful tannins mean it will last quite a while.
