Pale ruby red in color with varied notes of red cherry, violet and spice. Fresh and lively on the palate with a persistent aftertaste.
The Glenmorangie Bond House No.1 Collection pays homage to its namesake, the largest of Glenmorangie’s traditional 19th-century bonded warehouses. All of the Bond House No.1 Single Malt Whiskies have been created, nurtured, and long matured at Glenmorangie’s distillery on the shores of the Dornoch Firth.
This rare single cask Aberlour malt was distilled in 1999 and aged for 21 years, before being bottled in 2020 at 51.2%. First-fill American oak barrel #3856 was selected by La Maison du Whisky for Poland. The small and intimate Aberlour distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming, who previously worked at the Dailuaine distillery. He chose the convenient location where the Lour stream flows into the River Spey.
Very fresh with a deep color, with a rich bouquet of red fruit flavors. Appreciable with grilled red meats, and will accompany cheese very well.
