Quintarelli's 2014 Primofiore is, in a word, gorgeous… It is the youngest red wine, the “first flower” (translation of Primofiore) to be released by the estate each year, after only 12 months of ageing.

Blackberry, cocoa licorice on the nose. Full-bodied palate with fig and plum fruit, chalky tannins, mineral and chaparral notes on the finish.

In the glass, this wine appears inky-black with a velvety core. On the nose, however, you are treated to the lightness of fresh violets, crushed blueberries, and cocoa.

Bruno Lorenzon Mercurey 1er Cru Blanc Les Croichots 2017 is an exceptional white wine from the Mercurey 1er Cru appellation in Burgundy, France. Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, this wine showcases the renowned winemaking expertise of Bruno Lorenzon.

A soft and pleasant medium-bodied wine blackberry and raspberry aromas.

Liberty Creek Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of black cherry, plum and violets, followed by subtle flavors of strawberry and allspice. Firm yet supple tannins finish off this approachable fruit-driven Cabernet Sauvignon, making it ideal for a variety of food pairings.

Chérisey may not yet be a household name, but if our crystal ball is correct, it’s only a matter of time. The juxtaposition of the delicacy and generosity of the old vine "La Pièce sous la bois" may require you to run to your nearest fainting couch. When you take a sip it’s inevitable that you will sit down, close your eyes and say, “mmm” out loud.

Purple hue and purple middle. Lovely fresh blueberry and red cherry aromatics with a little mocha and white pepper. The mouth is cola and darker fruits such as black plum and black cherry. Great ripe and supple tannins. Nice structure and a finish that is round and full.

Deep garnet-purple, the 2016 Estate ‘Alluvial Selection’ Cabernet Sauvignon comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant crème de cassis, chocolate-covered cherries, charcoal and menthol scents with touches of garrigue, smoked meats and roasted nuts.

The 2016 Heritage Selection is expressive and full-bodied, with baked black cherry and concentrated blackberry fruit across the palate with spicy notes of clove and cardamom.

From the very top of the hill, the finest site in the Paje vineyard, and vines that are at least 60 years old, Crichet Paje is one of the great wines of Piedmont. The 2012 is surprisingly approachable, but don’t let that fool you.

Panek Vineyard’s early ripening nature was a blessing in 2017. All 5 blocks we work with achieved full ripeness giving us quite a bit to choose from in this vintage. That coupled with continually improving farming gave us more quantity than we hoped for pre-harvest.
