Panek Vineyard’s early ripening nature was a blessing in 2017. All 5 blocks we work with achieved full ripeness giving us quite a bit to choose from in this vintage. That coupled with continually improving farming gave us more quantity than we hoped for pre-harvest.

Crisp, rich apple, peach, citrus flavors and aromas found in the Chardonnay grape.

This straw-colored wine is made from Rkatsiteli grapes and boasts a bouquet characteristic of wines produced in the Kakhetian style as well as tones of dried fruit.

Brilliant color and bright, fruity taste. Light-bodied and smooth on the palate, this wine has notes of strawberry and raspberry.

A refreshing blend of traditional red wine and citrus fruit flavors. Best served chilled.

The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Capita is a blend of fruit from the premiers crus En Ergot, Corbeaux and Combottes, supplemented—if I understood Jean-Louis Trapet correctly—by a visual selection of small-berried clusters from Petite Chapelle and Clos Prieur which are not destemmed.
